Golden Hour Family Session ~ Orleans, Ontario

Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a family of four on a pleasant October evening, and it was filled with nonstop laughter and playful energy.

We started this golden hour family session walking down a winding path toward the Ottawa River, in Orleans, Ontario. We were eager to get to the riverbank, but couldn't resist stopping here and there, when I saw a photo opportunity pop up! Seemed like that happened every few steps, it was so gorgeous!

When we reached the riverbank, the scene was nothing short of magical. The sunlight danced on the water, creating a golden glow that perfectly matched the family’s vibrant energy. They played together by the river, tickling each other and lifting the little ones on their shoulders ~ just soaking in the moment.

What made this session so special were the candid moments—full belly laughs, playful embraces, and the way this family simply enjoyed being together. Posed shots took a backseat to the real, unscripted fun, and it showed in every frame.

As the sun began to set, we wrapped up the session with a few final photos along the path, where we found this perfect little bridge. The golden light streaming through the trees was the perfect end to a lively and love-filled evening.
